One of the hardest decisions for an executor is to decide the funeral arrangements of a loved one when that loved one has failed to give them any guidance as to their preference.  Families have been torn apart because some members wanted one style, whilst the remaining family felt a different style was wanted.  

One solution is for you to purchase a prepaid funeral plan while alive - this has advantages, but also inherent risks; please call us for more information.

As a general rule at the moment you have only two choices:

 •  Cremation

 •  Burial

You can add variations to these options. ‘For ashes to be scattered in some beauty spot’ is a common request. You can have a humanist, none-religious, or green funeral arrangement.  You can be buried in your garden. You might want flowers. You can be buried with someone.  You can authorise a memorial stone or garden seat. There are a whole range of options to choose from.
