Our pricing strategy is:
- each individual product or service should cover its own costs. We do not use ‘bait advertising’ to tempt you;
- to pass on to our customer the ‘economies of scale’ that occur where a consumer purchases multiple services;
- to be transparent with our customers at all times.
Our prices: the specifics
Our fees are:
Will writing service only
- £65 for preparation of a single will
- £95 for preparation of two wills for two cohabiting or married people
We do not charge extra for complex wills (e.g. Wills designed for inheritance tax
planning, wills with disabled beneficiaries, or wills for [potential] protection
from Long-
Lasting Power of Attorney
(when purchased with a Will using our Will-
- £ 95 for the preparation (but not registration) of a single Lasting Power of Attorney (when bought with a will)
- £120 for the preparation (but not registration) of two Lasting Powers of Attorney (when bought with one or two wills)
- £140 for the preparation (but not registration) of four Lasting Powers of Attorney (when bought with two wills)
Note: You must add the cost of the Will preparation to these figures to determine your total costs (and our petrol/travel costs where applicable)
Lasting Power of Attorney only
(i.e. Your will was not purchased at the same time)
- £120 for the preparation (but not registration) of a single Lasting Power of Attorney (when bought alone i.e. Not purchased with another service)
- £140 for the preparation (but not registration) of two Lasting Powers of Attorney (when bought alone i.e. Not purchased with another service)
- £180 for the preparation (but not registration) of four Lasting Powers of Attorney (when bought alone i.e. Not purchased with another service)
Lasting Power of Attorney Registration service.
Every Lasting Power of Attorney (“LPA”) must be registered with the Office of the Public Guardian (“OPG”) before it can be used by an attorney. The OPG presently charge £130 per LPA registered with them unless the applicant qualifies for either a fee remission or a fee exemption. So if you have 4 LPAs to be registered that is an additional £520 (i.e. 4 x £130) on top of our fees to be paid.
Further, we charge for our work in effecting registration as below.
- £ 75 + OPG fees For the registration of single Lasting Power of Attorney with the Office of the Public Guardian
- £ 95 + OPG fees For the registration of two Lasting Powers of Attorney with the Office of the Public Guardian
- £120 + OPG fees For the registration of four Lasting Powers of Attorney with the Office of the Public Guardian
Note: These fees are in addition to the relevant fees for the preparation of the appropriate documents.

The following may clarify the total fees you are likely to pay. If we assume that
you live locally to our offices, and want a Will with two Lasting Powers of Attorney
